Applications are officially open for the 2025-2026 admissions cycle! Instead of the usual news links this Friday, we are providing links to the major application platforms. While students can submit applications now, the best practice is to take the time until deadlines to perfect them. But with the applications open, every student should get an account on any application portal they may need.

Here are the major application portals:

The Common App

The Common Application is the major college application portal, with 1,087 schools as members. That includes schools in all 50 states, plus Washington, DC and Puerto Rico, as well as international colleges and universities. Hundreds of schools use the Common App exclusively.
