Trump Administration Requires New Admissions Data From Colleges

By far, the biggest education-related news story in the last week was the new guidelines from the President and the Department of Education on tracking admissions data for applicants and admitted students broken down by race and ethnicity. The Federal Government Cuts Over $100 Million in Student Exchange Funding

In more news of the current administration messing with education funding and other initiatives, a huge chunk of money already allocated to student exchange programs was pulled from the existing Fiscal Year budget. Twenty-two programs relating to cultural and academic exchange are in danger of losing funding.
