Standardized test Math sections are usually not difficult because the math is difficult. It’s really that a standardized test math question likes to surround the math with a bunch of other things. Most SAT® or ACT® math questions are a word problem, which means you have to read through things before you can even begin any calculations.

Then there are the questions with a chart.
