Where will you take the SAT® or ACT®?

Lost in aiming for a score or finding your best test date, determining where you will be taking the test is a crucial element you must know. That is also possibly a question you haven’t thought about much. After all, you can take the tests anywhere, and both tests are available in all 50 states and all United States territories.

Also, the vast majority of students take the SAT or ACT at their own high school during a regular school day. 68% of the 1.97 million SAT takers in the graduating class of 2024 took the test as part of the SAT School Day program. 78% of the 1.4 million ACT takers in the same group took the test during ACT District Testing.
